Who can become a library member? Print

Cards can be issued to anyone over 18 years old with an ID document, who signed a declaration accepting the terms and conditions of the Library, spelled out in “Regulations for accessing University Library collections”. However, only students and employees of the UW are allowed to borrow books. Other users can be registered to use the library on premises only.

At the registration you receive a library card (your account is activated) and a password.

Number of a card and your password  allow to order books online, using the online catalogue and databases and to use the Internet in the library.

We ask for changing the password at least once in a quarter.

If you want reset your password, visit our online catalog (https://chamo.buw.uw.edu.pl), choose Login, put your library card number and click Forgot your password?
New password will be sent on e-mail address which you left during the registration to the Library.

Registered persons are obliged to obey the Regulations for accessing University Library collections.
