Periodicals Catalogue
The catalogue description of periodicals contains the following components: title, subtitle, frequency, publisher, names of editors, place and years of publishing, format of periodical. In the columns there are detailed lists of volumes and numbers acquired by the library. In the column ‘UWAGI’ there is an information about the changes or incompleteness of volumes. The catalogue description of one periodicial often takes more than one card, then the cards are numbered ‘fol.1’, fol.2’ etc. If the library owns more than one copy of periodical, they are marked on card ‘Egz.1’, ‘Egz.2’ etc.

The Periodicals Catalogue is available online only:



  -   on the card there is an information about microfilmed periodicals available only on a microfilm in the Current Periodicals and Microforms Reading Roomif a periodical is located (stored) in Open Stacks, the symbol of a subject area is given  on the catalogue card -  periodicals located in Closed Stacks can be ordered only to the Main Reading Room

-   current issues are available in the Current Periodicals and Microfilms Reading Room

-   early imprints periodicals, calendars and administrative reports (published before 1800) are available only in the Early Imprints Reading Room.
